  • 2023-2024 First-Grade Supply List

    The following supplies are voluntary. Emerald Park Elementary School will make provisions for any student who cannot afford the listed supplies. Please let the classroom teacher know if this is necessary. Some teachers may have additional class-specific items.

    General Supplies

    • 6 #2 lead pencils - sharpened please!
    • 4 glue sticks
    • 1 box of 24 Crayola crayons (not more than 24)
    • 4 black fine-tip & 4 chisel-tip (any color) EXPO Dry Erase markers
    • 1 LARGE bottle of hand sanitizer
    • 1 tissue box
    • Last names starting with A-M: 1 box of gallon size Ziploc bags
    • Last names starting with N-Z: 1 box of sandwich size Ziploc bags

    Please label the following items with your child's name

    • 1 spiral notebook – wide ruled
    • 1 - 2 pocket folder labeled with your student’s name (any design)
    • 1 pink eraser and/or pencil-top erasers
    • 1 school supply box that will fit in a student desk - Supply boxes that are too big will be sent home (about 2 1/2"H x 5 1/2"W x 8 1/4"L is good)
    • 1 set watercolor paints (non-fluorescent) – Crayola or Prang brand recommended
    • 1 good sized book bag or backpack for carrying folders and books to and from school daily
    • 1 pair of over the head headphones 

    Label All Personal Items

    Please also label coats, hats, gloves, backpacks, umbrellas, lunch boxes, and other personal items that come to school.
