2023-2024 Fifth-Grade HiCap Supply List

This supply list is voluntary. Our school will make provisions for any student who cannot afford the listed supplies. Please let the classroom teacher know if this is necessary.

• Crayons, markers and/or colored pencils
• 1 dozen sharpened #2 pencils (label with name, no mechanical pencils)
• 2 reams of wide ruled notebook paper
• Pointed scissors, with at least a 6-inch blade
• Three holed pencil holder for binder
• Clear, plastic ruler with inches & centimeters (with an obvious zero point with holes so it can store in binder)
• 2 red ball point pens for grading papers
• 2 black ball point pens (no Gel pens please)
• 3-ring binder (1”, must fit in desk)
• 2 highlighters
• 2 books to read (we won’t be able to check books out of the library for the first week or two)
• 1 pkg. pencil top erasers or 2 large pink eraser
• Water bottle with a secure lid-please not metal (they are way too noisy)
• Post-its
• 1 wide ruled spiral notebook
• 1 composition book
• 1 set of 5 dividers

Label All Supplies & Personal Items

Label supplies with your child’s name as they are the personal property of the student. Please also label coats, hats, gloves, backpacks, umbrellas, lunch boxes, and other personal items that come to school.
