Grade 2 Supplies

  • 2024-2025 Second-Grade Supply List

    The following voluntary supply list reflects items needed throughout the school year. Horizon Elementary School will make provisions for any student who cannot afford the listed supplies. Please let the classroom teacher know if this is necessary.

    We do ask that families refrain from purchasing any toy-like school supplies and limit purchases to the items on the list.

    • 1 - pencil box 
    • 2 - boxes of 12, #2 pre-sharpened yellow pencils 
    • 4 - black EXPO fine tip dry erase markers 
    • 8 - Elmers glue sticks 
    • 1 - box of 12 Crayola markers 
    • 1 - pair of pointed scissors 
    • 6 - pink pearl erasers or 2 packages of pencil top erasers 
    • 1 - composition notebook (wide ruled) 
    • 3 - 2 pocket plastic folders (red, blue and color of choice) 
    • 1 - pair of over the head headphones clearly labeled with child’s name in a zipper lock bag

    OPTIONAL

    • 1 - set of colored pencils (12-24 count)

    Emergency Supply Kits will be provided by the PTA

    **Accommodations will be made for students with allergies/special health needs.
